Our Trip to Colorado

We recently made a trip to Fort Collins, Co. to a Production Sale for Goats. We took two Does and sold them to a local family. We felt that they went to a good home. We then spent one night at Ansley, Eric, Serena, and Colins home in Denver. Serena, bless her heart, gave up her bed for G.Grandpa and G.Grandma. We then went to church on Sunday at Cameron and Katrinas ward and attended the Sunday School class that Cameron teaches (Gospel Doctrine). Then we traveled to Monte Vista, Co. We spent a few days there and while there we went and saw some of the Amish people taking care of their crops and working in the fields. Since they do not believe in using a steering wheel, they have improvised. It was very interesting to watch them and how hard they work. We also got some pictures of their transportation.

FATHERS DAY WEEKEND IN NAMPA

Well, we don't seem to get around to "blogging" very often. However, we had a "GREAT" time of fun, relaxation, and eating over the Fathers Day weekend. We were treated like royalty! We so much appreciate families and the great love that they show to us.


We had the opportunity to be driven around in the newest car - Toyota Camry - not only by Norman but also by our "budding" teenage granddaughter Alissa. Norm and Debbie took us out to (I believe it was called Primos?) for a all you could eat pizza along with desert pizza and salad. We also got to go out in Lara and Marco's new boat. Marco had fun with us and got us all wet! Of course the fact that the wind was blowing pretty good had nothing to do with it. Then we had a steak barbeque, with potato salad, fruit, etc. Needless to say we were well fed.



Then on Sunday we all went to church and returned home to have another great meal. They do always feed us good!
